Communication becomes strongest when it is tested in real life.
This week moves learners out of controlled practice environments and into service communication.
Participants may be required to:
- deliver short leadership messages
- facilitate small discussions
- explain ideas simply
- respond to questions respectfully
- communicate with younger audiences in accessible language
Speaking to younger audiences is a valuable discipline because it forces clarity. If you can explain a leadership idea clearly to younger students, your own understanding becomes sharper.
This practicum is not about performance. It is about service through communication.
After the practicum, reflection becomes essential:
- What did I communicate clearly?
- What part connected best?
- Where did I struggle?
- What did I learn about myself as a communicator?
